BSE Exchange – Connectivity Issues on 3rd July 2014 Posted: 02 Jul 2014 09:36 PM PDT Today in the morning i was surprised to see that some of my orders on BSE and my data software not showing proper data.
Look at the tweets from CNBC TV 18 handle
BSE Says: Network Service Vendor HCL’s Team Working To Resolve Issue
BSE Says: To Close All Markets Due To Network Outage.
Mkt off highs…Nifty into red…BSE rates not updating…
So today BSE has been stopped from functioning due to connectivity issues. Ironically they just started a lot of advertisements proclaiming to be the fastest exchange in India
Also they plan to list soon.
There was a time in 2004-2007 when i used to recommend retail investors who were opening fresh accounts to open only BSE account so that they would not dabble in futures as they wont have an account only. As an investor one could get all stocks listed as well as enough liquidity.
Over the years have shifted focus to NSE but today is a big disappointment. Hope BSE does something.
