Dear Mr. Arjun,
Thank you for your suggestions. Actually the portfolio is of my father’s, which is been managed by Standard Chartered wealth management. However, i had asked them the reason for the allocation but they said that it was based on my father’s risk profile. Well we have been invested with them since 2004 and they havnt provided us with any significant return, which over the term does not even earn more that the fixed deposit rate.
With the experiance that we had, i feel it is to best invest on our own rather than giving it to someone else..Now, with the knowledge that i have been earning from your teachings and wisdom, i am quite confident to take the right decisions for our investments. Thank you so much Mr. Arjun for guiding us on the right investment path.
Soon i would make the nessesary portfolio adjustments.
Regards,
Abdul Qaadir
Hi Arjun,
Thanks for the excellent educational content at your site. It’s written in common man’s language and seems unbiased compared to what’s typically seen in net. What I really liked about the site is you touch upon different investment avenues (not just equity) for a retail investor like me and provide analysis of the otherwise confusing macro economic situation. Thankyou so much!
The site could be designed better, made more professional and user friendly.
Thanks
Sandhya
Dear Arjun,It has been one year since I have been a member of Investors are Idiots, and it has probably been the most effective investment I have made in the past year. The advice I received gave me a lot of understanding about how various markets functions and therefore a lot more confidence in investing. But at the end of the day, all that matters is whether this advice got converted into more money for me, and I glad to note that the initial investment I made in this ‘product’ has got me far greater returns than other options. Thanks again and all the best for the next few decades.Regards,
Ruqshad
Hi Arjun,
I am a member of Standard Subscription to IAI club. I have always found your articles and tutorials very useful and giving insights about the topics which are normally not covered by many others in the similar business. This is especially true for articles on “Fixed Income”. I also like your no nonsense attitude and taking a definitive view rather than beating around the bush.
Shirish

Dear Mr. Arjun, I just went through the fixed income tutorials, it was terrific. The way you have explained things, it’s so simple. I always shied away from fixed income as I never understood them or I must say that there was no one to guide me about it but after reading your tutorials and newsletters, you have made the complex financial markets easy to understand. Hats off!! And keep up the good work!!! Regards, Abdul Qaadir Qureshi

I have been reading your articles on your website. I really appreciate the efforts taken by you on your educational series on debt and equity.Even other articles posted on the site are so informative. Thanks to you and your team. Really glad to have taken the membership.Another thing that I noted is – As I started reading and gaining more knowledge, I have stopped looking at my investments on a day to day basis. I am confident I will be able to make good returns in the long term following your guidance and advice. Also stopped watching too much of CNBC. Only watch it for news.
Hi Arjun

Need to appreciate your reports on equity and fixed income , it’s an excellent lay man draft easy to understand and relate .
