The preliminary written examination for the Combined Services-II has been scheduled to be conducted on 1 December. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will conduct the exam for direct recruitment of eligible candidates to total 1,064 posts. Exam timings are from 10 AM to 1 PM. Read below for details on TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2013.
Group 2 Exam Pattern: The written exam will be divided in two parts; Part-A & Part-B. Part-A will consist of 125 multiple choice questions whereas Part-B will contain descriptive type questions. Total time for completing both parts is 3 hours and maximum marks are 340, out of which if a candidate is able to get 102 marks, he/she will be declared qualified.
The preliminary exam will be conducted at all the districts, around 114 centres are marked for conducting Group 2 exam. After the results of preliminary exam, TNPSC will conduct the main exam at 8 centres, namely, Chennai, Chidambaram, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Thanjavur, Tiruchirappalli and Tirunelveli. Candidates will have to reach the examination centre before 1/2 hour of the exam timings in order to avoid any problem. All the details will be printed on Group 2 Hall Ticket.
TNPSC has already announced that the candidates will have to download their hall tickets from the official website only and no hall tickets will be sent by post.

Look for the link named "Group 2 Hall Ticket 2013" and click on it.
Fill all the details required on the new page and click on "Submit" button.
Give the Print command to print the hall ticket.
Note: candidates are advised to keep atleast 2 copies of their hall tickets with them.
