Market to play yield curve spreads rather than yield curve shifts 

The surprise issue of a new ten year benchmark bond in the government bond auction held on the 22nd of November has shifted the markets focus to yield curve spreads. The cut off yield on the new ten year bond that was auctioned for Rs 7000 crores was 8.83%.
