Domestic institutions turn buyers, but will the trend sustain?

Buying by DIIs, if sustained, would brighten the prospects for shares after FIIs pumped in $6-billion into cash shares since late August.


Sensex, Nifty mark biggest weekly gain since October 11

The Sensex closed at 20,791.93, up 257.02 points or 1.25 per cent. The Nifty ended well above its psychological level of 6,150.


Small and midcap stocks outperform index in November; analysts wary

The outperformance should not be taken as a broad-based rally, given that mid & small-caps tumbled for large parts of the year.
