Top Headlines

Major supporters to the market were heavy weight RIL and Infosys. RIL rose 1.74 per cent to Rs 803.50 and Infosys by 0.79 per cent to Rs 22,62.10.

TCS' market value surged to Rs 2,80,822 cr, highest for any listed co in country. This is about Rs 2,555 cr more than ONGC's m-cap of Rs 2,78,267 cr.

The country's second largest private lender had a profit of Rs 1,453.08 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
